Debag Kimya has been at forefront in creating value for tanners worldwide by introducing leather specific enzyme preparations (rather than generic versions as commonly available in market) mainly in beam house processing.
Since last year we have been working on utilization of few of our enzyme preparations in post tanning operations to resolve problems being faced by tanners to produce consistent quality leathers from available raw materials.
Such situation is highly prevalent in India where beamhouse work is mostly sub contracted and raw material sourced from various origins with suspect beam house process. This results in inconsistent leather quality.
Our work has identified following products from our range that can be introduced in post tanning operations to create better value for tanners:
DEBAZYM LP NEW – Special enzyme preparation that can be used to remove naturally occurring fat from wet blues resulting in cleaner/brighter and uniform colours of resultant treated leathers. It can be used in hydrophobic leathers processing as well & improves fogging values.
DEBAZYM MST – An enzyme preparation that works to relax fibres throughout cross section of leathers WITHOUT ANY CREATING LOOSENESS. It also aids in reducing wrinkle/folds marks in leathers.
DERASIT-P DK 2202 – Another enzyme preparation used either alone or in conjunction with MST to ensure removal of non structural proteins resulting in more softer/wrinkle free crust and create better uptake of processing chemicals.
We have introduced various systems commercially with many quality conscious tanneries within India and demand for same is increasing owing to its compatibility across all types of tannages (wet blue/wet white or vegetable tanned) and customers have appreciated the benefits realised by introduction of such products.
