DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS FOR IULTCS 2015 HAS BEEN EXTENDED FOR MAY 10TH. THIS YEAR, THE WORLD’S LARGEST LEATHER TECHNOLOGY EVENT TAKES PLACE IN BRAZIL.
It has been extended the deadline for submission of abstracts for the world’s largest leather technology event, the XXXIII IULTCS Congress (International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies, an entity that gathers institutions connected to tanning sectors from several different countries). The new deadline is May 10th. Academic contributions should address subjects linked to innovation and sustainability within the leather production chain.
The thirty-third edition of IULTCS Congress takes place in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul., between November 24th and 27th. Organized by ABQTIC (the Brazilian Association of Leather Industry Technicians and Chemists), this year’s event looks forward to the participation of professionals, industry representatives, academic experts and students from over 25 countries. “We have extended the deadline due to high demand. In the academic world, there’s a lot being produced in terms of leather, and people are willing to share their work. It is something that meets the congress’ objective, which is to serve as a moment of information and updating”, says Etevaldo Zilli, executive director of ABQTIC.
In addition to the IULTCS conference, the XIX FLAQTIC Congress (the Latin American Federation of Leather Industry Chemists and Technicians Associations) and the XXI ABQTIC National Meeting will also take place.
