We are pleased to announce that we have achieved Level 1 ZDHC certification for all of DEBAG KIMYA branded wet-end leather chemicals produced in TURKEY. We have liaised closely with The Chem-MAP® team and have jointly worked through the c-MAP programme for our products.
The aim of the ZDHC certification process is to help companies working with the footwear, apparel and accessories industry exhibit their commitment to responsible chemical management, working towards the ultimate goal of the zero discharge of hazardous chemicals. Conformance to the limits of ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) demonstrates improved upstream chemical management and reduction of the industry’s chemical footprint.
